About the Founder
Kevin Lay (publishing as Neo Israel) is the founder of the NeoExistence Institute, a research and strategy organization dedicated to advancing critical thinking, scientific literacy, and humanity’s preparation for the technological Singularity.
He holds a B.S. in Psychology, Minor in Business Administration, Master’s in Science from East Texas A&M, and currently working on research and dissertation to submit to University of Oslo, Norway PhD. His academic and professional background bridges cognitive science, philosophy of belief, organizational strategy, and more.
Kevin is the originator of Epistemic Lens Theory, a framework that explains how belief systems construct human perception and shape subjective reality. His work challenges the limits of religious cognition, explores the psychology of interpretation, and applies marketing principles to prosocial change and cognitive evolution.
The NeoExistence Institute is the applied extension of this mission:
to repair the gap between human reasoning and accelerating technology through education, media, and strategic communication.
Kevin writes and publishes under the name Neo Israel, reflecting both a philosophical identity and a forward-facing transhumanist orientation. His work explores the convergence of science, epistemology, culture, and existential risk — with the conviction that humanity must upgrade its thinking before artificial intelligence surpasses it.
